I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual, couples, and family counseling on the South Shore of Massachusetts. I received my undergrad psychology degree from Fairfield University and my masters in Social Work from Columbia University in NYC.
My work experience includes home visits in Montana, teaching parenting classes in New York City, working with boys in residential foster care, counseling teens within Hoboken High School, and co-leading DBT groups in Marshfield. I have maintained a private practice for several years to serve individuals, couples and families in my community.
One of my passions is to present on topics of parenting, anxiety, and general well being to parent teacher organizations, school personnel, and community groups.
I like to start where the client is and build on strengths to help them arrive to where they would like to be. With energy and empathy, therapy sessions often focus on skill building to lessen the intensity of symptoms.
I live in Marshfield with my husband and 4 children, spending as much time as possible at the beach.
